Studyclout is a free, all-in-one academic platform for university students in the DACH region. Founded in 2024 by Vincent Agwu, it brings document sharing, course discussions, faculty communities, student events, and a student job board into a single GDPR-compliant product, available in German and English.

About us

The platform was created out of one motivation: To make studying easier, have more fun and to help each other.
The platform was created out of one motivation: To make studying easier, have more fun and to help each other.

We were frustrated that information was scattered everywhere and not organized - that you needed many platforms, that were not meant for this kind of exchang, to stay up to date. With Studyclout, we created a platform that brings together everything you need for your studies - to be the best you can be, to keep up with everything and to actively shape your future. We firmly believe that helping each other and pointing out opportunities not only helps the community, but also each individual. In the future, you can look forward to even more features that will help us make the platform even better and more fun for you. Stay tuned!

Unser Team

Matthias Schäfer (Co-Founder and CEO)

Matthias is responsible for the marketing and strategic direction of Studyclout. While Excel models make him despair, he thrives on his actual passion: Solving problems and creating something that students love to use and makes their lives easier. In particular, he believes that a strong community that helps and supports each other leads to great results. He can usually be found at the Innovation Center at Saarland University, where he also studies business administration. When he's not at university, he can be found either climbing or lost in a good novel in the meadow. He is always open to new ideas, improvements and feedback - so if you notice something or have an idea for us, get in touch with him!

Clarissa Poedjiono (Co-Founder and CTO)

Clarissa is responsible for the design and user experience of Studyclout and studies bioinformatics at Saarland University. Here she pursues her passion for creating designs and digital support that make everyday life easier and more colorful for users. When she's not preparing snacks for her two guinea pigs, she can be found preparing delicious recipes in the kitchen - but as a self-proclaimed foodie, she prefers to check out local restaurants, especially in search of the best sushi (tips always welcome!).

Kaviya Ravichandran (Co-Founder and Backend Engineer)

Kaviya is mainly responsible for the magic in the backend at Studyclout and is currently studying Data Science and AI at Saarland University. She makes sure that everything runs smoothly - from fast loading times to stable uploads. She loves building complex systems that remain invisible to users on the inside but make all the difference. Her mission: to build a platform for students that never lets them down. Although Kaviya is a sunshine herself, she prefers a good rainfall (something in that the german weather never disappoints her) to curl up on the couch with a good Netflix series.

Vincent Agwu (Co-Founder and Software Architect)

Vincent builds the infrastructure and architecture of the platform so that everything is on a solid footing. He loves to tinker and finds a solution for most problems – here he can draw on his computer science studies at the HTW Saar. When he's not using his PC for coding, he can usually be found there playing games. And when everything gets too much and he's had enough of sitting around, he can be found in the gym or snowboarding in Switzerland.
